What determines the flow rate? The ACCUFUSER® pain pump has flow restrictors located in the fluid pathway that allow a predetermined amount of medication to pass through over a predetermined period of time. These flow rates are set by the manufacturer and chosen by the surgeon. Flow rates for the pumps are preset and cannot be changed. |
