Curlin Medical provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on call support for providers, medical personnel and clinicians. The number to call is 888.287.5999 and is located on the back of your pump or user cards. Our staff of nurses and pharmacists will usually respond to your call within 10 minutes.
Click on this link to fill out your RMA form on line or call 714.893.2200 and ask for customer service. Please provide the serial number (on the back) of your pump and reason for return. You will receive an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number that should be placed on the shipping label when the items are sent in to Curlin Medical.
Yes. The company has a loaner program. When you fill out the RMA form on line or call 714.893.2200 you may request that you are provided a loaner pump.
Up to five pumps may be loaned out at one time based on needs of the facility. If additional circumstances require more than this please contact both your B. Braun sales representative along with Curlin Medical.

Option 2: Send Biomedical Technician to Curlin Medical for Training and PM Certification
Every Curlin pump displays a visual alert on screen after one year that reminds the user to have the pump re-certified for the next year. While, it does not prevent operation, it does alert the user each time the pump is turned on. When the pump is re-certified, it ensures that the pump is operating within the published specifications.
The biomedical staff can either have the pump returned back to Curlin for re-certification or they can utilize the self-re-certification kit to evaluate the specifications that exist in the pump. If the pump passes the inspection using the testing procedures, the expiration date in the pump would be updated by one year from the date when the re-certification was successfully completed.
Curlin charges $50.00 for each pump recertification and it takes approximately 1 week from the time it is received for the pump to be returned back to the customer.
We do have a loaner pump program available during this process.
This kit includes an initial supply of disposable accessories and a list of recommended hardware, that when used according to the directions for use, will allow the user to renew the pump for another year, if it passes all the specifications. The kit contains enough disposables to evaluate and test 40 pumps. This allows the homecare or hospital to re-certify a pump without having to return the pump to the manufacturer. If the pump fails then the pump will have to be returned to Curlin for repair and inspection
The kit may only be ordered after the user completes all the forms and instructions that are located in the Support:Non-Factory Self Recertification section. The forms will require the end user to accept responsibility for the recertification process vs. Curlin Medical. When Curlin has received these documents back and upon B. Braun’s receipt of the purchase order, the Self Re-Certification Kit is shipped to the customer.
When the customer receives the kit, they will need to install the software package on an IBM-compatible PC and obtain a unlock code from Curlin’s customer service department to access the software.

The current Self Re-Certification Kit does not assure that each pump will pass. It is a tool to be used to assist the customer in keeping their pumps in good working order. If a pump does not pass, it should be retuned to Curlin by calling Curlin’s customer service, or going online here to receive an RMA number to return the pump.
Each test takes around ½ to 1 hour per pump.
The standard Limited warranty is for one year. Should a pump need service, return it to Curlin Medical. We have a toll free line at 888.487.4454. To arrange for repair, call 714.893.2200 or fill out the RMA form on line, explain the problem, obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return the product to Curlin Medical. Should you require a loaner pump one can be provided to you.
Parties Covered by this Warranty: This warranty extends only to the Original Purchaser of the Pump. This warranty does not extend to subsequent purchasers. The Original Purchaser may be a patient, medical personnel, or a medical facility that purchases the Pump for treatment of patients. The Original Purchaser should retain the invoice or sales receipt as proof as to the actual date of purchase.

Notice to the Manufacturer must include date of purchase, model and serial number, and a description of the claimed defect in sufficient detail to allow the Manufacturer to determine and facilitate any repairs that may be necessary. AUTHORIZATION MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO RETURNING THE PUMP, and confirmed with issuance of an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. When authorized, the Pump must be properly and carefully packaged and returned to the Manufacturer, postage prepaid. Any loss or damage during shipment is at the risk of the sender.
